Shoulder Pain Procedures at The Orthopedic & Spine Center at Jupiter Medical Center

Shoulder Pain

According to the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, about 4 million people in the United States seek medical care each year for shoulder sprain, strain, dislocation, or other problems. Each year, shoulder problems account for about 1.5 million visits to orthopedic surgeons. Our Orthopedic Surgeons are experts in their fields and treat conditions ranging from torn rotator cuffs to shoulder fractures and conditions of the elbow including fracture, dislocation or osteoarthritis. They are widely recognized for excellent patient outcomes when performing minimally invasive procedures such as total shoulder replacement with rotator cuff sparing technique. We also have one of the few Orthopedic Surgeons in the country performing pectoral muscle tear repair surgery.

Our Orthopedic Center of Excellence offers a comprehensive rehabilitation program that provides nonsurgical therapies to relieve pain and improve function as well as postoperative physical therapy. Rehabilitation following treatment is the key to a successful, functional outcome and pain relief. If surgery is performed, rehabilitation usually begins in the inpatient setting and continues on an outpatient basis. A dedicated Orthopedic & Spine Navigator is available to all patients to guide you through the entire process, providing education and support. Our team includes surgeons, pain management specialists, anesthesiologists, nurses and therapists. We are proud to be Joint Commission Certified in Total Joint Replacements for Hips, Knees and Shoulders.
